Pride in Legal Aid by Young Legal Aid Lawyers
To celebrate Pride month, YLAL is hosting a #YLALVirtual exploring ‘Pride in Legal Aid’. The panel will discuss what steps can be taken to improve inclusivity for LGBT+ (prospective) members of the profession and how legal aid can defend the rights of LGBT+ people.
The event will be co-chaired by YLAL’s co-chairs, Ciara Bartlam of Garden Court North and Crash Wigley (incoming pupil at Civitas) who will be joined by a fantastic panel:
