Homeless deaths during the pandemic webinar available to view

Our Homeless deaths during the pandemic webinar is available to view below. Please note that the content will expire after three months from the date of the event.

There has been a steep rise in the number of homeless deaths during the pandemic at a time when the ‘Everyone In’ policy was in place to house rough sleepers.

In this webinar, GCN’s Ciara Bartlam and Gemma Vine of Ison Harrison Solicitors, will explore some of the issues from an Inquests and Homelessness perspective, focusing specifically on the root causes of homeless deaths during the pandemic in supported accommodation such as hostels and night shelters; and provides guidance on some of the ways in which lawyers can help bereaved families and representatives navigate the Inquests process to ensure public scrutiny.

This webinar is part of our collaborative series with DG Legal.
