Immigration advocacy training in Manchester (HJT Training)

Advocacy I – An introduction Learn from one of the leading advocates of theirgeneration. The trainer will help you develop and practice key skills using examples from real cases. We give advice on preparation, tactics and ethical issues and the workshop includes the opportunity to participate in two mock hearings, one involving asylum and the other dealing with entry clearance under the immigration rules. With the OISC currently consulting on expanding rights of audience for OISC advisers, this is a good time for OISC advisers to be training themselves up.

Advocacy II – preparing and presenting a case before the IAC (practical exercises) This is a course that follows on from the Advocacy I course, it is more comprehensive and you can book on if you have completed the Advocacy either from this year or previous years.
