1. Identifying issues at the police station, fitness to plead and stand trial and sentencing options under the Mental Health Act 1983 and alternatives - presented by Erimnaz Mushtaq

2. An examination of the respective roles of legal representatives and mental health and social services professionals in criminal proceedings; to include questions of confidentiality and assessment of a client’s capacity to give instructions and understand advice – presented by Kate Stone

3. IPPs and Mental Health : the particular issues which can arise when an assessment of dangerousness, pursuant to the CJA 2003, has to be undertaken in respect of defendants with a history of mental illness – presented by Farrhat Arshad
