Positive result for former charity manager in unfair dismissal tribunal

The claimant, Mr Chohan, accepted settlement part-way through the tribunal against Manchester Indian Senior Citizens Centre following their admission that he was unfairly dismissed.
Rachel Halliday, of the Manchester office of national legal firm Thompsons, said: "Mr Chohan has decided to accept a settlement part way through the hearing. The settlement is on the basis that the Indian Senior Citizens' Centre has admitted that he was unfairly dismissed - although it is not admitted that the reason was whistleblowing - and has agreed to pay him compensation. Mr Chohan is a Unison member and recieved legal support from Unison".
