Man freed as 25 year murder conviction quashed

A man jailed for life for murder in 1977 was today freed by the Court of Appeal.
Robert Brown from Glasgow who served 25 years in prison for the murder of Manchester spinster Annie Walsh, was freed after his conviction was quashed by the appeal court judges in London.
