New Senior Clerk - Sarah Wright

Garden Court North Chambers are pleased to announce that Sarah Wright (formerley First Junior Clerk at GCN Chambers) has been appointed as Senior Clerk with effect from 12th September 2005.
Sarah has fifteen years of clerking experience, five of which have been spent at Garden Court North Chambers as First Junior Clerk. She also graduated this year with a Business degree and is now thrilled to be taking over the reins from David Skinner.
After almost 10 years as Senior Clerk, David departs in order to emigrate to Australia with his family. David moved up from London to Manchester in 1996 to help establish Garden Court North Chambers and has been instrumental in the growth of the set. With an uncompromising desire for quality he achieved both Bar Mark and LSC Quality Mark certification for chambers and is credited for establishing chambers' reputation for open and scrupulous clerking.
Chambers bode a fond farewell to David last week and wished him and his family the very best of luck for their exciting new life "down under", along with an inevitable chorus of "Aussie" puns.
