Amicus
Amicus was set up in 1992 in memory of Andrew Lee Jones, who was executed in Louisiana in July 1991. Amicus aims to provide assistance to those practising in the field of capital defence in the USA. Mark George teaches and writes for Amicus.

The Bar Council is the professional body for barristers in England and Wales. It provides representation and services for the Bar, and guidance on issues of professional practice.
Bar Standards Board
The Bar Standards Board was established in January 2006 and is the independent regulatory board of the Bar Council responsible for regulating barristers called to the Bar in England and Wales.
