This seminar will discuss the impact of the Pinnock decision and consider how the concept of proportionality may operate as a defence in possession proceedings and the new fact finding powers of the County Court in respect of occupiers without security of tenure.

The speakers will also consider how to run these defences tactically, the evidence you will require and the potential consequences for the wider operation of Article 8 in other possession proceedings.

The seminar will include some practical case study sessions.
