The Equality Act 2010 came into force in October 2010 and will applky to at least 1 in 6 people. This important legislation gives new rights to employees and imposes new obligations on employers and employment agencies.

This course attracts 5 CPD points and is suitable for employment caseworkers and advisers.

Kerry Smith and Sarah Daley of GCN will present a one-day training seminar for Chesterfield Law Centre on the Equality Act 2010. The morning session will provide an overview of the new Act and an update on discrimination case law and the afternoon session will provide practical exercises and case studies aimed at maximising the opportunity for positive outcomes in discrimination claims.
