Following the Court of Appeal judgment in Osborn & Booth v The Parole Board [2010] EWCA Civ 1409, the appellants have now been grated permission to appeal to the Supreme Court.
The appellants have been granted permission to appeal to the Supreme Court on issue (i); i.e. the criteria to be adopted by the Parole Board in deciding whether to grant an oral hearing. (Case ID: UKSC 2011/0146 and UKSC 2011/0147).
We expect the hearing to be listed in late 2012 / early 2013.
Vijay Jagadesham , instructed by Harrison Bundey Solicitors and Scott-Moncrief, Harbour and Sinclair Solicitors , and led by Hugh Southey QC of Tooks Chambers, will represent the appellants.
