GCN's Bryony Poynor is currently in training to run this year's London Marathon on 24th April.
Bryony is running the race to raise money for Afghanaid, a charity which she is passionate about supporting.
Byrony says "I'm particularly pleased to be supporting Afghanaid because of the work they do with Afghan women - those who suffered worst under the Taliban regime. Afghanaid provide almost 13,000 women with basic lessons in literacy, maths and health education every year as well as vocational training such as carpet weaving, embroidery and tailoring. Six hundred self-help group members have received business skills training and more than 5,000 women have received loans to set up small homebased businesses."
