2nd Junior Clerk Temporary Cover required for immediate start until the end of December 2012

Salary £18,000 per annum pro rata

Garden Court North the Chambers of Ian Macdonald QC is a successful and expanding Chambers, specialising in Crime, Housing, Immigration, Employment , Personal Injury and Public Law and has a strong commitment to human rights and civil liberties.

We invite applications for the temporary cover position of Second Junior Clerk.

Duties will involve answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls, dealing with diary bookings, billing of fees, fee chasing, liaising with courts and solicitors in respect of fixing cases and assisting with the coordination of chambers seminars and marketing events.

Previous clerking experience within a barristers chambers is preferred.
