Garden Court North chambers are pleased to announce a one-day seminar for civil and criminal practitioners who wish to develop or refresh their awareness and practical knowledge of claimant public law.

  • Do you know when a public law remedy might be employed in your area of practice?
  • Do you know how to spot a potential public law challenge?
  • How is public authority decision-making accountable to the new statutory equality duties (EHRC) and to human rights law?
  • Do you know how to start and conduct Judicial Review proceedings?
  • What about the funding?
  • And what does the "regionalisation of the Admin Court" mean for you and your clients?

The programme will feature a morning of comprehensive training on public law practice and procedure, including top tips on applying for funding and a recent caselaw update, followed by an afternoon of streamed workshops for practitioners in housing, immigration, asylum support, community care, prison law and crime.
