Tolerated Trespassers in House of Lords this week

06/10/2008

Adam Fullwood will appear in the House of Lords this week in the tolerated trespassers case of Knowsley Housing Trust v White.

The House of Lords is hearing three cases together:

  1. Knowsley Housing Trust v White [2007] EWCA Civ 404 (do tolerated trespassers apply to assured tenancies at all?)
  2. Porter v Shepherds Bush Housing Association [2008] EWCA Civ 196 (do entrenched tolerated trespassers exist and if so what's the way out?)
  3. Honeygan-Green v LB Islington [2008] EWCA Civ 363 (the revival of the Right to Buy with the revivial of a secure tenancy and the relevance of previous steps in the RTB process).
