Philip McLeish joins chambers
21/10/2011
Garden Court North Chambers are pleased to welcome Philip McLeish as a new tenant.
Philip commenced tenancy on 17th October 2011 and joins our housing team. His practice covers a comprehensive range of housing law and is complemented by his experience representing clients in proceedings relating to community care, mental health, discrimination, employment and education law.
Philip was called to the bar in 2003 and following pupillage and a spell squatting at Garden Court (London), Philip worked at a small Law Centre based in a psychiatric hospital in South West London, during which time he was admitted as a solicitor. Here his casework revolved primarily around securing and retaining housing and education for young people and representing detained patients contesting their section. He is very experienced in dealing sensitively with clients in distress.
Please speak to the clerks on 0161 236 1840 for more details about Philip's practice.
